Ritter is a PGA Associate and golf professional based in Santa Barbara, California. With years of experience in the golf industry and working with high-end clientele in private club environments, Ritter brings a personalized and approachable style to every lesson.

His teaching philosophy is centered around understanding the individual golfer rather than trying to fit every player into the same swing. Ritter focuses on building strong fundamentals, improving consistency, and helping players better understand what is happening in their own game so they can make adjustments with confidence.

He enjoys working with golfers of all experience levels, whether someone is picking up a club for the first time, returning to the game, or looking to sharpen their skills and lower their scores. Lessons are designed to be relaxed, productive, and focused on improvements that translate to the golf course.

Most importantly, Ritter believes golf should be enjoyable. His goal is to help players improve, build confidence, and have more fun along the way, because when players enjoy the process, better golf tends to follow.

Nick is a Division 1 golfer on the UC Santa Barbara men's golf team.

A Thousand Oaks native, Nick started playing at 12 and went on to play at Oaks Christian and compete in multiple State and World Championships before earning his spot at UCSB, where he is the team captain and competes year-round at the highest level of college golf.

Nick teaches full swing, short game, putting, and course strategy from the perspective of a player who's currently competing — not a swing theory he read about, but what actually holds up under tournament pressure. He works with junior golfers chasing high school and college spots, beginners who want to learn the game the right way from the start, and experienced players stuck at the same handicap for years.

Using TrackMan at Neighborhood Bunker, Nick builds lessons around real numbers — club path, face angle, launch, spin — so students can see exactly what's happening in their swing instead of guessing. Every student leaves with a clear picture of what to work on and why.

Nick is also certified in the FlowCode Golf Academy program developed by Dr. Rick Sessinghaus, mental coach to Major winner Collin Morikawa, bringing a mental-game framework to his coaching alongside the technical side.
